I am a dedicated and energetic student pursuing a Health Information Management Diploma at George Brown College. I have gained theoretical and practical knowledge through my education and professional career. I am an aspiring health management professional with an interest in coding, healthcare law, and innovative technology. My ultimate goal is to work within the healthcare industry as a coding specialist or release of information (ROI) specialist. I want to make an impactful contribution towards improving the health of Canadian's by utilizing my integrated knowledge and skillset. Previously, I was a Microbiology Analyst with a demonstrated history of working in the foodservice industry. My educational background in Biotechnology and Microbiology allowed me to obtain essential skills and knowledge related to my role specifically GMP, High-Pressure Procedure, and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). My experience has allowed me to gain problem-solving and analytical skills that allow me to determine valuable insights from data to present information in a consolidated manner. I aspire to utilize my skills to achieve excellence as a leader within healthcare by using my passion for helping others and management. I am constantly looking for new opportunities to further my knowledge and skills to help me achieve this goal.
