• Performing prior art searches and drafting patent applications.• Providing intellectual Property service to the assigned technical, business and/or geographical areas.• Drafting patent applications related to Automobiles, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Software, Business Method Patents, Internet Message Networking, Internet Browsers, Cloud Computing, Fax Servers, Semiconductors, Wireless Communications etc.• Supporting Patent attorneys regarding intellectual property matters arising from litigation, licensing and business transactions involving patents.• Reviewing and classifying patents and update granted U.S. patents, delete expired patents from an existing list, and organize patents and applications by subject matter.• Performing IP Auditing, Market Research and Evaluation. • Interacting with the company lawyers regarding the legalities pertaining to the invention.• Direct invalidity searches and provide a review and analysis of prior art and systems• Providing new material and analysis to clients on how data may affect business and offerings, reviewing technology against existing patents to determine if infringement might exist and suggest alternate means and methods to avoid potential infringement.• Recruiting engineers through campus interviews and providing Intellectual property (IP) training to engineers.• Additional responsibilities include Client conferencing to discuss the scope, objective, duration and cost of the projects. Post scoping follow-up to brief the client on the project progress.
