• Responsible for developing operational plans, projects, and training for Theater Tactical Signal Brigade• Assess effectiveness of training within the brigade and develop programs to sustain strengths and improve weaknesses• Ensure all section training and activities are conducted to standard, with safety/risk management involved at all levels• Assist the Signal Brigade Plans Officer with conducting mission analysis and developing the Signal Estimate and Operations orders to design, provide, and sustain local and wide area networks in support of theater, tactical, strategic, and sustaining base operations• Assist with the coordination and implementation of unit training, readiness reporting, mobilization planning, operations security, and force modernization• Support the Plans Branch in preparing of all plans, orders, and other actions as directed by the Commander
