Asia Chang is an LA native, with many childhood memories rooted in Koreatown, Mid-City, and Downtown LA. Asia attended high school at the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES), where she immersed herself in the sport of water polo and achieved the title of Varsity Captain, while also pursing an active role in the AAPI community through volunteer activities and an internship with the K.W. Lee Center. Following graduation, Asia attended Pasadena City College (PCC) pursuing a Business Administration - Marketing major, where she selected to be the Rose Fellow within the organization that is the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, which is an 8-month fellowship dedicated to the professional development of select PCC students. Concurrently, Asia juggled her studies, ASPCC duties, social/family life, and application to the University of Southern California. Asia was accepted to be a transfer student at USC, within the Iovine and Young Academy to major in the 'Arts, Technology, and Business of Innovation'. In Asia's free time, she loves to lift weights, cook a multitude of cuisines, express creativity through nail art, and explore the capabilities of AI in graphic design.
