Assist the editor of the Long Beach Post's arts/culture section, the Hi-lo, with reviewing and editing the work of staff and freelance writers, overseeing the growth and production details of the Hi-lo's website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Other major aspects of the role include general arts/culture reporting, including writing articles, producing, and editing videos, conducting interviews, and taking photos, as well as organizing gallery shows (for the Hi-lo Gallery) and events, all with the purpose of covering Long Beach's thriving arts and culture scene in service to the Long Beach community and beyond.
