• Gained acceptance into a highly competitive and comprehensive mentored cancer research internship. • Conducted research in the laboratory of Vassiliki Boussiotis at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center focused on protein interactions.• Our objective is to determine how PD-1: SHP-2 interaction leads to inhibition of T-cell activation.
