In Dr. Ignea’s Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering lab

Primary Duties:- Give tours of campus to prospective students, families, alumni, and other Welcome Centre visitors;- Provide general information about the university (programs, student life, living in Montreal, etc.).

Working at the Biosphere, a federal environment museum, I presented scientific information on climate change, sustainable development, and other environmental issues to a wide demographic in both English and French.

As part of the Neuroethics research unit, I performed cognitive pre-testing for a survey designed to understand the general public's attitudes towards brain-computer interfaces. I then analyzed the preliminary survey response styles, and later presented these response styles at the John Abbott College and Vanier College Science Symposium.

For both the Chemistry and Physics departments of John Abbott College, I tutored students in the following courses:- Chemistry of Solutions, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry I;- Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, and Wave Optics and Modern Physics.

Primarily working with francophone students in one-on-one sessions, I focused on helping each student develop their reading, writing, and speaking skills in the English language.
