Conduct regular quality checks, analyze test results, and implement corrective actions as needed.Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that all production equipment, including grinding mills, conveyors, and separators, are properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation.Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all plant personnel. Conduct safety audits, provide training, and implement safety improvement initiatives.Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for production and quality control activities. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures to optimize plant operations.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production and quality records, including production reports, quality test results, maintenance logs, and safety records. Prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders on plant performance and KPIs.Continuous Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement,Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or quality management systems.Team Management: Supervise and lead production and quality control teams. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity, quality & safety awareness among team members.

Executes the daily production schedule of the shift, organizing and administrating the technical personnel of his area of responsibility, e.g. raw material reception, secondary crushing, stacking and reclaiming, raw material grinding, raw meal blending, clinker burning, site material transport, cement grinding packing plant etc., in a way that secures the optimum operation of all job positions and development of the required end product within the specified technical standards and safety and environment regulations Develops and upon approval implements the shift schedule of the production, taking into consideration potential obstacles and difficulties, e.g. equipment malfunction or personnel shortage, so as to correspond efficiently to the plant’s production targetsOverviews the efficient operation of equipment and personnel, so as to meet company’s operational standards (e.g. cost, equipment efficiency, timeliness of product delivery, effectiveness of personnel), proposing and upon approval implementing methods of improvementDevelops the technical shift report regarding the efficiency of plant production, quality and engineering performance, informing accordingly the Production Manager and coordinating with the respective departments and shift technicians, in order to implement corrective actions whenever necessary, thus ensuring the smooth operation of the production process. Works closely with the Production Manager during running and major shut-downs and supervises the production cleaning and maintenance activities in the area of responsibility, ensuring that the implementation of maintenance and improvement activities are according to schedule and within targets Cooperates with other technical departments of the plant, exchanging and communicating ideas and suggestion for improvement that will enhance the work relationships throughout the plant, as well as increase the information flow of the current production process
