Asif Iqbal is a development professional and climate change advocate. He brings in diverse set skills in partnership management, sustainability, energy and policy advocacy in environmental, humanitarian and development setting. Asif is the alumni of International Leadership Program, Japan, Energy Finance trainee from the Institute of Energy Economics & Financial Analysis, New York, United States and a certified practitioner of ProposalPro – A comprehensive package of tools in Grants Acquisition & Management (GAM). As a mentor, Asif volunteers with Al Gore's Climate Reality Project and has received specialized training from the US, Australia and Indonesia. He is an authorized presenter of the updated version of the Al Gore’s slideshow, featured in the Academy Award-winning documentary - "An Inconvenient Truth". As a member of Global Muslim Climate Network, the US, Asif advocates on climate crisis in faith perspective. He led a number of national campaigns on climate change, including Solar For Her - empowering girls access solar powered schools, Pakistan' first ever public solar-powered hospital and Signature campaign to contribute in reinstating federal climate change ministry in the country. A diverse multi-cultural experience of working with public, private and corporate donors, including foreign missions and international NGOs has transformed Asif' capabilities as a trustworthy professional in program coordination, strategy and fundraising. Key donor funded programs he has worked with include Embassy of Japan, Embassy of the Netherlands, UN agencies, US Aid, the EU, FCDO, Global Affairs Canada and many more.
