In May 2002, Al-Meezan Investments acquired the Pakistan operations of Societe Generale. One of the few selected by the bank and reassigned to the challenging position of head of credit administration.• Controlled, monitored, and reviewed Loan/ Advances portfolio and supervised documentation and transactions according to Shariah requirements.• Supported the front office in carrying out customer due diligence through the credit information bureau and other sources. Monitored credit limits and authorized disbursements.• Helped and advised customers regarding loans and transactions. Provided technical support to customers and other departments regarding Islamic documentation and related issues. Conducted periodic visits to customer facilities and carried out valuation of collateral.
