Asih is presently a Clinician Nurse at National Brain Center Hospital (Rumah Sakit Pusat Otak Nasional) Prof. Dr. dr. Mahar Mardjono, Jakarta. As she dedicated herself more than five years in the largest Indonesian national referral hospital for neurological care, she took her spesialization in the science and delivery of nursing care for patients with brain and neural diseases (stroke, traumatic brain injury, brain tumor, spinal injury, etc). Together as team with the former health professionals, she took part in the process of developing the hospital since it’s first inaugurated by former President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in 2014. In the last three years, she has been appointed to take part in the development of Neurorestoration (Rehabilitation Unit), a new model of ward, designed to provide intensive exercise and homecare preparation for mainly post-stroke patients. The ward was inaugurated by former Ministry of Health, Prof. Nila Moeloek.Asih previously graduated her Bachelor of Nursing Science from Universitas Indonesia with an outstanding achievement, a turning point that made her ended up in bold decision to start her early career in the clinical setting because she thinks she could give direct impact to the society. Working as clinician gave her chances not only to learn about procedural skills, but also assisting the policy making in internal hospital setting.
