•Review and evaluate settlement & restructuring proposals received from SAMD (North) & formulate accept / reject recommendations for the Bank Management/Credit Committee/Board.•Hold meetings with regional office north /borrowers in order to reach to an amicable solution by seeking queries answers from region and inputs from customer on mutually agreeable preposition & action plan of recovery•Monitor the implementation of decision taken by the Management /CC/Board with respect to settlement of loan accounts. •Monthly progress report to Group Chief & quarterly progress report to Credit Committee. •Coordinate with NAB, FIA, SBP, legal counsels and other Government agencies for recovery of Banks loan.•Maintain liaison & monitor the performance of the North region.

•Handled the Classified /Credit relationships of Commercial & SME’s cases for 22 Regions.•Identified and rehabilitated problematic borrowing relationships through restructuring/rescheduling that demonstrate willingness to repay and have satisfactory past track record.•Established a monitoring mechanism for tracking the performance of borrowing relationships. •Transferred the relationships to the concerned business unit upon satisfactory performance after a period of one year. •Transferred the relationship to SAMG which cannot be revived. •Monitor performance of declassified relationships. Achievements:Rehabilitation of problematic / potentially problematic accounts facilitated the Regions in a reduction of their classified portfolio. Team efforts have resulted in Renewal of Rs. 207 (M) & Cash Recovery of Rs. 115 (M), with total write back of almost Rs. 322 (M) in less than one year.

Primarily Handling the Credit relationship for 8 branches of Commercial & SME’s cases. Responsibilities include:•Assist the business in achieving growth and revenue targets while maintaining portfolio integrity.•Problem recognition in assigned obligors for assigned industries, which include business risk, financial risk, security risk and analysis of credit proposals.•Ensure timely processing & approval of Fresh/Renewal/Enhancement credit proposals and other credit up-dates to respective committees.•Regular customer calls / site visits to ensure independent risk assessment of customers. Additionally working as "Regional SME Coordinator" (Central Region, Lahore) and "Product Champion" and handling ten branches under SEL & WHAM Project in consultation with Shore Bank International USA.

Worked as R.M at CIRC Head office. Prime responsibilities include acquisition of non-performing assets that involves detailed loan & collateral due-diligence, technical analysis, pricing, asset tracing, settlements and marketing campaigns. In addition to this, I was handling an independent non-performing portfolio of a diversified range of industries.Achievements:Acquisition of these NPL’s facilitated the Government of Pakistan to Privatize UBL & HBL which fetched foreign investment in Pakistan, merger of NDFC with NBP and restructuring of IDBP. Team efforts have resulted in Settlement of 40 NPL’s and disposal of 123 Industrial units, which fetched revenue to the GOP & un-quantified indirect revenue in the shape of future taxation. Approximately fifty thousand jobs were created subsequent to a re-opening of the previously shut units, which had multiple social & economic impacts.
