• Plan, organize & produce petroleum based polyvinyl acetate, resin for woodwork, paint lattice , binders , textile auxiliaries ,detergents, polyurethanes, crop emulsifiers , manufacturing of water treatment chemicals for NALCO & specialized segment of Adhesives for Henkel at a minimum cost while maintaining Quality & HSE standards• Preparation and implementation of operating procedures to ensure all equipments are operated safely within design specifications. • Ensure manufacturing excellence, plant efficiencies, reliability & productivity through SAP based ERP system.• Safe and efficient operation of plant utilities including Effluent Treatment Plant to ensure production requirement on time in full basis.• To ensure that the revenue budgets for the section are prepared and implemented to avoid over-runs at year-end.• Provide support in assessment of manufacturing suitability of new products both ICI and Non ICI and recommend appropriate plant and equipment modifications. • Conduct 6 stage hazard studies of new and modified equipment and process. Successfully commissioned projects worth Rs 40 M in last two years.• Carry out Risk Assessments of operating instructions and implement actions to ensure safe and smooth operation at plant.• Perform manufacturing capability reviews to improve productivity. Prepare expansion proposals and capital expenditures aligned with Business future growth and cost strategies.• Initiated cost effective business strategy & implemented two shifts Operation to give business a saving of Rs.3.2 million. • Developed Profit Improvement Plan for the department that saved Rs.2.5 million per annum.• Developed different training modules related to safety and engineering standards.• Ensured compliance to all ISO 9001 / 14001 procedures in the department and conducted internal operational audits to measure compliance.• As a Business Key User of SAP, successfully implemented and executed PP module in the chemicals business.

• Supervise production as per production plan of petroleum based polyvinyl acetate, resin for woodwork, paint lattice , binders , textile auxiliaries ,detergents, polyurethanes, crop emulsifiers ,toll manufacturing of water treatment chemicals for NALCO & specialized segment of Adhesives for Henkel by managing resources in the shift in order to meet the production compliance in the shift.• Arranged raw and packing material for production on the basis of daily production plan to ensure smooth production operations.• Supervise engineering during shift ensuring availability of services and minimizing machine outages to maximize production.• Implementation of HSE improvement plan through compliance of HSE plan including completion of HSE audit actions. • Ensure compliance to company HSE requirements on the plant so that safe working conditions are maintained at all time and act as a Fire Team Leaders in case of an emergency.• Train, develop and motivate workforce to achieve short and long term requirements of production.• Exercise discipline in a firm and fair manner so as to improve productivity, reduce absenteeism and to avoid an IR situation.• Investigate, develop and seek approval of plans for machines, processes to improve efficiencies and safety.• Coordinate with warehouse for in time availability of Packaging and Raw material and ensure in time relevant SAP entries of the manufactured products for their availability OTIF basis.• Monitoring of KPI’s in the shift.• Monitoring safe and efficient operation of plant utilities in the shift.• Ensure error free closing of monthly production with no unidentified stock differences in SAP and physical stock. • Effective coordination with plant maintenance team for on time availability of equipment and permit to avoid downtime.
