At Thomson Reuters–IP&S division (now Clarivate Analytics), I was Relationship Manager in the Publishers and Associations team, serving 80+ scientific, technical, engineering, and medical societies. I helped them achieve their membership, research and policy goals. Some of my largest accounts included the American Heart Association, American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, and SAGE Publications.

Started as a scientist. Pivoted into a Sales and Marketing Associate role selling Small Ubiquitin-like Modifier (SUMO) protein expression kits and reagents to a global roster of biotechs, biopharmas, government agencies and research institutions. My role expanded to Director of Business Development. I out-licensed SUMO technologies to companies like Cayman Chemical, and setup purchasing agreements with companies like Eli Lilly and GlaxoSmithKline.

Designed a research internship program that connects students to primary investigators across the university and medical school. Created a catalogue of the opportunities available, and advised students on how to interview for them. Advised students in the Neuroscience Program in the College of Liberal Arts and in the NIH funded MARC program (Maximize Access to Research Careers) in the College of Science & Technology.

Cold called patients newly admitted to home care hospice, to assess how well palliative care treatments were working. Created patient- and organizational-level reports for new business development and for Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement standards of care.
