I am very fortunate to start my career in Intralogistics automation. I say career because it's become my lifelong passion. Back in 2005, an unexpected but life changing phone call to be part of the world's largest retailers' futuristic Distribution Center was God sent. It truly was the start of something phenomenal in the US retail domain in terms of Intralogistics automation. Having worked on the field doing executions, to then engineering gave me the insight to truly appreciate how an inception from a deck becomes magic when you see it running in real. From US to India still pursuing my passion, I became a salesman. Initially folks wouldn't answer calls once a price was submitted. That was when the realization set in that regardless of a very bad ROI, it was about solving a genuine problem for a customer and making them believe and trust you. It was this trust, that in less than a decade made me lead the P&L of India fastest growing multinational Intralogistics automation company. It was a privilege to be part of the transformation at industries such as F&B, E-commerce, Paints, Tyre, Pharma, Electronics to name a few. From India to S.Korea, to lead the automation charter of one of the fastest growing E-commerce company, who are constantly challenging all tradeoffs to continuously wow the customer was an honor. There is now a choice between fixed and flexible automation and the whole world is trying to figure out the sweet spot. Waking up everyday and being part of this choice, that will forever change the world of automation is a blessing. Back to where it all began-INDIAI am very curious by nature and passionate about finding solutions to problems. I believe in empowering people and making them do what they themselves thought they can’t. I love to travel, meet new people and see the gears of our society work, and aim to be the catalyst that transforms it for a better tomorrow.
