Currently, I work as a Senior Database Administrator at the University of Ottawa, where I oversee complex database systems, ensuring they run smoothly and securely. As a Canadian Permanent Resident (PR), I’m excited about contributing to organizations here and making a long-term impact.My journey started with a strong academic foundation in Digital Transformation and Innovation in Applied Data Science, which gave me a deep understanding of how data can be leveraged to solve real-world problems. Over the years, I’ve worked across multiple industries, from financial data at Ernst & Young, where I streamlined workflows and reduced project times by 30%, to my time as an Alexa Skill Developer at Amazon India, where I improved Alexa’s voice response capabilities using Python.At the University of Ottawa, I’ve also had the chance to teach, mentor, and collaborate with students and faculty. As a Teaching Assistant, I led tutorials and labs, proctored exams, and helped students navigate complex data concepts. Additionally, I’m helping the university’s Facilities department create a campus-wide energy database, allowing for smarter resource planning.Beyond my professional work, I’ve always been eager to keep learning.
