I am engaged in various teaching and research activities, particularly in Fruit Science. I am having a specialisation in fruit breeding and always I prefer myself to be involved in banana and papaya breeding activities. As an associated scientist in ICAR-AICRP on Fruits project, since last five year I have been doing the multilocation evaluation of several varieties and technologies for the benefit of the end user. I belong to the old school of orchardist those relies on traditional orchard management without much intervening the orchard ecosystem. I do look after the up keeping and management of mango and litchi orchards for maximizing quality fruit yield with minimal technological interventions in a sustainable way.The basic objective of my professional career is to strengthen marginal or small-scale landholding fruit growers with suitable scientific interventions.
