Manager - Design & Technical support – Low voltage switchboard (License partnering business) Technical support for LV Switchboard channel partner / franchise business in India in coordination with Product Management and Business Development team.Brief responsibilities includes:1. Provide technical support/guidance/training to build competency of newly appointed franchise partners2. Coordinate with product management / marketing group to understand detailed technical requirement / objective in view of business perspective, in conjunction with associated budget and timeline 3. Coordinate with test laboratories for technical support, scheduling and commercial aspects 4. Develop test plan and strategy involving test-sequence and back-up plan for modification / rework 5. Design optimum test-object and test-setup 6. Documentation for manufacturing the test-object and test laboratory submission 7. Inspection / review of test object 8. Witnessing at independently accredited test laboratory 9. Making quick decisions in the best interest of the organisation keeping customer safety as paramount precedence. 10. Hands-on support for customer service, on-site modifications, retro-fits, re-designs and re-work

CUSTOMIZED DESIGNS (Duration : 9 years)India, as a competent hub for project acquisition, execution and manufacturing of SIVACON S8 Low-voltage switchboard business, switchboards are successfully delivered and commissioned in various locations of India, Middle East, South-east Asia and Australia.As a product designer, responsible for developing designs for non-standard requirements of customers in PCC and MCC type LV switchboard SIVACON S8 in order to meet their specifications / requirements in an optimally cost effective manner without hampering original proven type-tested design. Major activities involved:1. Feasibility check of non-standard requirements in pre-order acquisition stage for sales and project management groups2. Coordination with cross functional teams in order to gather detailed input, check manufacturing and technical viability3. Evaluation of potential solutions so as to design optimum cost-effective solution complies with technical standards/specifications4. Ensure deliverables are prepared to satisfy the project requirements, schedule, target cost and product performance.5. Seismic test Zone-5 with resonance test is successfully done as per M/s NPCIL spectrum, for their seismic zone Project. 6. Temperature rise test is successfully done as per NPCIL specifications.
