Apart from being a lifelong learner and distinguished applied researcher, Asit is passionate about bringing impactful changes to humanity through his teaching and research. As a human scientist, Asit’s goal is to sharing unique research driven knowledge and experience with collaborators/teammates to mentor leaders in practice, education and research.Asit’s academic and research interest includes areas like business analytics, big-data analytics, data modeling, sustainable supply chain management, strategic service operations management, technology management, logistics systems and strategy, strategic spend analysis and revenue management, and supply chain optimization. Providing solutions to management practitioners’ problems through data mining, artificial intelligence and deep learning has hone his technical expertise as well as team management, collaborations skills. Asit has several research papers to his credit, most of them have been published in reputed journals like International Journal of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Modelling in Operations Management, International Journal of Technology Management & Sustainable Development, International Journal of Management Practice etc. Asit has been actively engaged in academic administration. He was Associate Dean and Associate Professor of College of Management Studies, IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Greater Noida, India; Program Director of Jaypee Business School, Noida, India. Currently, he is Assistant Professor of College of Business at Austin Peay State University. He is also member of editorial board and reviewer of various international journals like Tourism Management, Supply Chain Management: an International Journal, Journal of Management Research, Journal of Enterprise Risk Management etc.
