My university education journey started at TU Delft in the Netherlands, where I began studying Computer Science. Despite doing well academically and securing an early position as a programmer, my passion for hands-on humanitarian work continued to resonate with me. My involvement in non-profit initiatives during high school had profoundly influenced me, and hence while at TU Delft, I kept gravitating towards extra-curriculars which allowed me to do impactful work while growing as a leader. In my second year, I led a transnational project installing solar PV panels in refugee camps across Greece and Nigeria. This experience catalyzed my decision to transition into law.I am now concluding a remarkable three-year LLB program where I've thrived academically and served in leadership roles, including representing my peers in the law faculty and editing for the Amsterdam Law Forum. My public speaking skills have also been polished, as I got to advance to the finals in the Amsterdam Law Trials and was counted among the top performers from a cohort of some of the brightest law students in the Netherlands. Additionally over the past two years, I have balanced my legal studies with a role as a student-to-student support officer, where I provided personalized assistance to peers facing various challenges. This position honed my ability to listen, empathize, and offer tailored solutionsGrowing up in cities of London and Islamabad, I gained a unique perspective on the commonalities and contrasts in global issues. As I approach graduation, I am excited to leverage my diverse background, which includes analytical skills from a Computer Science foundation, to contribute to the field of international law. My interests lie at the intersection of complex legal frameworks and global disputes, with a particular inclination towards arbitration and litigation.
