As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at °Nomad Health, I apply my knowledge and skills in web development, machine learning, and networking to create innovative solutions for the healthcare industry. I have over 8 years of experience in developing web platforms, serverless applications, and video and image processing systems, using cutting-edge technologies such as ReactJS, Redux, Node.js, PHP, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, S3, AWS Lambda, and FFMPEG.I also have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where I researched network management topics, including machine learning applied to networking and intent-based networking. I developed a novel technique to extract decision tree explanations from black-box models, called Trustee, and a conversational interface for network intents, called Lumi. I collaborated with researchers from Princeton University and NIKSUN Inc. on these projects. My research interests and goals are to enable self-driving networks, programmable networks, and artificial intelligence for network and security.
