Ahmad. S. Kasimin, a seasoned IT professional and business manager with over 25 years of experience. I graduated from the University of East London (UEL), UK, with a Bachelor's (Hons) in Computing Information System.During my career, I've had the privilege of working on some exciting projects. One of my proudest achievements was the development of the IslamicEvents portal and MIMBAR Software as a Service (mimbar.my), which aimed to facilitate communication, collaboration, and commerce within the Muslim community in Singapore and Malaysia. I was also the event coordinator for the 1st Asia Pacific Regional Development Community Business Convention (RDCBiz) in 2019.I have a passion for promoting literature and have been involved in the publication of over 30 Islamic finance books. I've also been a key member of the organizing teams for several high-profile events, including the Kuala Lumpur Islamic Finance Forum (KLIFF), the Singapore Waqf Conference, and the Bandung Islamic Finance & Investment Summit (BIFIS) in Indonesia.Throughout my career, I've undertaken several successful software development projects, including developing two award-winning software applications: Library Automation Software and Project Management software.
