My role as the communications coordinator at FLC has honed my skills for running my own business. Some of my duties included:✦ Managing 2 of the directors’ professional and personal calendars. Assisted the office manager with various tasks when required.✦ Screening and answering a high volume of internal and external emails and telephone calls daily.✦ Managing the reception area which included greeting visitors and responding to telephone and walk-in requests. Liaised closely with the firm’s associates and their administrative staff.✦ Maintaining the meeting rooms as well as the scheduling for those rooms. Ensured a steady supply of refreshments and office supplies.✦ Supporting the education manager in scheduling speakers, planning logistics, and preparing presentation material for all education workshops. Assisted in the execution of workshops and events.
