Hello, my name Connie Reimers-Hild (aka Dr. Connie). I am a Futurist focused on helping people untame their futures by changing their beliefs and behaviors about what is possible. My company works with leaders and businesses at the intersection of changes in science and technology, environmental sustainability (including agriculture), shifts and prosperity, and what it means to be human in the middle of all the rapid change occurring in the world. I am the Founder and Chief Futurist of Wild Innovation, a strategic foresight and leadership development firm that has helped more than 150 companies and 30,000 individuals determine and pursue their desired futures.Focusing on one aspect of organizational strategy is not enough. Future-proofing organizations requires an ecosystems approach to success and growth. Wild Innovation works at the intersection of science and technology, environmental sustainability, shifts in prosperity, and the evolution of humanity to create purposeful futures.Purposeful Future: The future we choose to pursue with WILD abandon because it is personally fulfilling and purpose-driven. Before launching Wild Innovation full-time, I served as the Executive Director and Chief Futurist for the Rural Futures Institute (RFI) at the University of Nebraska. While at RFI, I hosted the Rural Futures podcast, started an inclusive leadership fellows program, and established key partnerships with small businesses as well as tech firms like Microsoft and Apple. I am a Certified Professional Coach, Strengths Coach, and Futurist with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Human Sciences and Leadership Studies, a Master of Science degree in Entomology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources. In addition to helping people live and lead their desired futures, I love strategizing, firewalking, sledding, swimming with sharks, and experiencing new adventures with my family.

  • Wild Innovation
    Founder & Chief Futurist
Wild Innovation Dec 2005 - Present
Hello! My name is Connie Reimers-Hild. I am the Founder and Chief Futurist at Wild Innovation. In 2005, I discovered that personal fulfillment was the key to motivation in adult leaders and have been on a mission to help individuals and organizations create greater prosperity for themselves, their teams, and the planet ever since. Wild Innovation developed the “Wild Method” – a unique blend of strategic foresight, neuroscience, and nature to help leaders and organizations create more prosperous and purposeful futures. How? By untaming their minds and their futures. Our holistic approach to strategic foresight and leadership focuses on the intersection of science and technology, environmental sustainability, shifts in prosperity, and the evolution of humanity to create purposeful futures. My experience comes from blending a career at the University of Nebraska with entrepreneurship. Wild Innovation's research-based programs have helped more than 150 companies and 30,000 individuals better understand and create unique innovation playbooks designed to achieve their ideal futures while enjoying the present moment.I was the first (and only) female to be appointed to an Executive Director role at a university-wide institute. Leading the Rural Futures Institute at the University of Nebraska was an enjoyable experience because we had a dedicated team of people eager to partner and innovate with leaders throughout the world. Our team launched the Rural Futures podcast, which explored the future of rural places. We also founded an inclusive leaders fellows program and a Thriving Index for rural areas. As a Futurist, I could see the possibilities! I loved working with leaders from several countries as well as from companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple, and Verizon. I still love working with leaders from all corners of the planet. If you are ready to go wild and untame your future, then send me a DM!-Dr. Connie
