I was part of Fuel & Charging team. I created new solutions working with recent .NET and C# versions. My main focus was developing a completely new self-service checkout project with smaller team focusing on designing and implementing the back end and PostgreSQL database side of the project. Since the codebase has been new, I have had a chance to improve my knowledge of unit tests and how to make code easily testable.Later on I spend some time with a project using Node.js and MongoDB.

During the time in Accountor HR, I was upkeeping and developing mature HRM and payroll system. My tasks were mostly about improving and refactoring already existing code. My duties were also heavily focused on system security. From the technological point of view, I mainly worked with .NET Framework with C#, but I also made use of my past experience with JavaScript by improving the JS-code at the front end side.

Working as the Full Stack Developer in the Invoice automation team. During the years with OpusCapita I worked on creating and designing a new product with the technology stack including JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, MySQL and Sequelize. I mostly focused on back end as well as database design and implementation.For the first two years I was also making new features and updates for an already existing Invoice automation product which is based on Microsoft technologies (C#, Silverlight, Microsoft SQL Server).

Customer service where I tried to find solutions for customer's problems was the most important part of my work. Troubleshooting and improving the software based on comments were the most common tasks. Creating new features and fixes for both desktop and mobile systems as well as upkeeping the servers were also part of common work. I also made integrations for external system as well as maintained our own web service interface.I mostly used C# with Microsoft Visual Studio and MySQL with HeidiSQL but I also used several Javascript-libraries, Nginx proxy server, Bamboo and HTML.

I made web-based software development as external for Areva Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant project. My tasks included software development, database design and software requirements specification with users. In my work I familiarized myself in PHP scripting language, PostgreSQL database management system, jQuery JavaScript library and Bash Unix shell. I developed and modified web applications and databases. I also made several scripted Excel-reports that used data from databases.I also created a Microsoft Visio plug-in with server back-end with C# using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. This plug-in is able to add data into Visio drawing based on user input or according to information found from database. It is also capable of handling the drawing, filtering the presented information and send information from drawing to database or to external source. The plug-in received good feedback and the usage of the plugin-in has been planned also for other projects in Areva.

I worked in Areva IT Support department of Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant project. The daily work was troubleshooting and solving network, software and hardware problems of Areva users. Preparation of equipment, installations and maintaining was also in my scope of responsibility. After working around one year in Areva’s IT Support, I was given possibility to move inside the project to different tasks.

I worked in Cieltum Oy along my studies. At first I worked around three times a week but for the last twelve months I worked full time hours. In my work I developed and programmed Microsoft Silverlight application with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. I used C# programming language and MVVM architectural pattern. My tasks included software development, system planning and database handling with SQL Server. I also created reports that can be launched from application and which are using information from the database. My biggest assignment was the complete renewing of web user interface that received very good feedback from the customers. During this time I also got to know with Windows Azure and SharePoint.
