External team include FirstRand Group Tax, FNB Mainframe and LISP Platform Vendor Tax team. • FICA: Reported to the Head of Regulatory Risk. Responsible for a team including Product Owner, Head of Risk, Business Support Specialists, Analysts and Process Engineers. External team includes personnel within the Chief Risk Office. • FNB Client Integration: Reported to the CIO and Business Solutions Head. Responsible for managing internal stakeholders, including Product Owner and Business Solutions Head, Analysts, and Process Engineer. External team included Client Master Team, Data Platform Team, and Platform Capability Leaders. Key Deliverables:• Accountable for delivering foundational components of the platform transformation journey for Wealth & Investments. • Delivered initiatives that transformed Service Centre operations for onboarding & maintaining client information, as well as enabled central bank processes to fulfil mandatory client reporting. • Lead teams responsible for remediating over 15 000 clients on the client master & refreshing 50 000 clients across 4 business areas within 6 months.• Lead teams to implement solutions to ensure the business remains compliant with FICA and Tax Administration legislation, which included CRS reporting, customer screening, dividend withholding tax exception reporting and transactional monitoring. Drove implementation of interim solutions and managed the journey toward end-state platform integration.

The team achieved the following:• Launched two innovative products not previously seen in the South African retail banking sector, resulting in balance sheet growth: (1) New flexible notice deposit - 'MyNotice' (Finalist and runner up at the 2014 FNB Innovators Awards); (2) New fixed deposit - 'Inflation-linked Deposit' (Category winner at the 2013 FNB Innovator Awards).• Repositioned various products to protect the business's deposit base, introduced new channels through which products were sold and unlocked new market segments for legacy products to increase sales and balance sheet growth.
