I got promoted to Marketing Manager position at Sacem after 3 years. My main responsibilities are customer relationship management, develop and enrich customer service, monitoring market trends, designing and following the campaigns, creating strategies to take advantage of market opportunities, analyzing the distribution of the products and arranging pricing according to market needs. I am responsible from designing marketing materials for whole product portfolio, develop strategies and guidelines, working closely with sales team and monitoring product sales.I am attending to all distributor meetings, manager meetings, sales and product trainings of all represented brands. I am also responsible from advanced technical support, trainings, demos, presentations to our customers because of my scientific background. I also have experience on arranging the stock and managing the importation and custom process.

I have been responsible from certain brands which includes the product lines of genomic, molecular and cell biology studies. The main applications are amplification technologies, library preparation kits for next generation sequencing, RNA reagents, protein expression and purification systems, cloning platforms, western blot, IF, IHC, flow cytometry, ChIP, imaging. My main responsibilities are to be in contact with customers for designated brands to determine customer needs and to provide technical support. Reporting all customer information and feedbacks to Marketing Manager, determination of probable-customers and customer budgets, organizing marketing materials like catalogs, product/instrument brochures, working closely with sales team and monitoring product sales, product trainings to sales team, Presentations/demo/trainings to customers. I also attend to distributor meetings and international trainings of certain brands.

I am working as a Director of Molecular Genetic Lab at Eurofertil IVF Clinic. Our main interest is aneuploidy screening using real-time PCR technology.

I started my PhD program at University of Ankara and I have carried out by the majority of my PhD research at the University of Miami. My main area of expertise is genetic analysis on Mendelian Human disease’s and rare disease. Over this seven-year period, my work has focused on genetic analyses of a range of different human diseases, using mainly Sanger sequencing, STR markers screening, Affymetrix genome wide SNP arrays, next generation sequencing techniques. In my both thesis projects, I focused on finding the responsible gene in non-syndromic autosomal recessive hearing loss families with parental consanguinity. I am very comfortable to analyze Affymetrix genome wide SNP arrays, next generation sequencing and similar techniques raw data’s and proficient using Microsoft Office programs. Addition of my lab experience, I have extensive experience in sample processing, archiving and data management. For this time period, I have set up and managed the lab for my PI at the University of Miami.
