Worked at the Marketing & Resource Development Department, details of which are:• Trained 7000 women from different walks of life during 2014 by arranging and conducting a total of 64 Breast Cancer Awareness sessions at different venues in Sindh. • Conducted Anti-tobacco Awareness Sessions in May, at various colleges, vocational training centers and factories in Karachi, Hyderabad and Kotri.• Participated in designing Annual Marketing Plan and target setting of the Marketing and Resource Development Department.• Expense management of events for example SKMCH Stall at the Kids Expo.• Recording, monitoring and reporting financial progress.• Liaison with major clients / donors.• Extending support to the head office by handling regional level responsibilities of assigned campaigns and activities. For example Hide Campaign: Collection of 2,500 skins, 47% increase over 2013.• Participation in devising the strategy for networking and engagement of high net worth individuals and donors.• Maintaining and updating client/donor profile database.• Writing proposals for securing support during campaigns.• Coordination with other departments of the hospital for relevant support.• Providing feedback of the ongoing activities, for monitoring reports as required by the head office.• Identifying new areas and opportunities for development of new funding initiatives in the short, medium and long term.• Overseeing Volunteer Program during Zakat campaign.

Worked as Medical Consultant providing a front line support service to customers and brokers. Produced accurate information within agreed time and service standards, paying specific attention to detail and quality of work output. Dealt with the incoming emails, phone calls, posts and faxes in accordance with service standards. Following protocol enabled a zero complaint ratio on verbal approval authorizations.

Worked as Research Officer on: 1. Transmission of Hepatitis B and C from pregnant mothers to children and 2. Evaluation of risk factors for mortality after burn trauma. Responsibilities included interviewing patients, entering data timely and generating reports and analysis. Maintaining up-to-date database was accomplished by continued communication personal interaction with the participants.

Worked as House Officer in the Departments of Medicine, General Surgery and Chest Surgery. This included inpatient, outpatient, emergency duties and ward weeks.
