I am currently working at an elementary school in Vancouver, Canada as a grade 4 class teacher. My responsibilities include lesson planning, delivering lessons, grading assignments and completing termly and yearly reports. I help prepare students for standardized testing and the Fundamental Skills Assessments. My role includes supervising children during lunch and recess breaks and dismissal. I communicate with parents on a daily basis through the school portal and report progress on a weekly basis. I attend regular meetings to plan and collaborate with teachers and supervisors on a regular basis. I manage and conduct Spelling Bee, Spell-a-thon and Math-a-thon competitions in my current role.
