I am an intersectional feminist with a rich history of working closely and innovatively with diverse groups of young people since 2017. My expertise spans Ending Violence Against Children (EVAC), Gender Rights & Justice, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Masculinities, and youth leadership and skill-building.At The YP Foundation, I lead efforts in GBV Prevention and Masculinities through the Campus Caravan Project. This initiative aims to strengthen mechanisms and practices to prevent and respond to violence within campuses, increase youth leadership on gender-based violence issues, advocate for safe and inclusive spaces, and bolster advocacy and networks for youth-affirmative policies with Higher Education Departments and UGC.I am also associated with the National Young People’s Action Team of YuWaah – Generation Unlimited and co-founded the TJJS Alliance in Madhya Pradesh, focusing on the health rights of children and adolescents. Additionally, I serve as a board member of Youngshala, an inclusive space where young people can develop, grow, and learn about constitutional values creatively. My experience includes serving as a project lead with the Aawaj Organization in Madhya Pradesh, in partnership with UNICEF and Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh. In this role, I helped build the capacities of young people and other stakeholders, such as professors and senior functionaries of education sector, on child protection with a Gender Transformative Approach across 52 districts. My responsibilities encompassed program designing, training, documentation, stakeholder management, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation & learning.Furthermore, I have worked with The YP Foundation as a Youth Advisor/Consultant in a WHO-supported program aimed at combating misinformation among youth in the Indian context. I also spent one and a half years with Yuva Bharti, working to implement schemes related to the protection of children in marginalized rural communities. These roles have allowed me to apply my domain knowledge and technical expertise to create meaningful change and advocate for the rights and well-being of young people across various contexts.
