I work with Warkiani Lab remotely on projects regarding the development of microfluidic devices for bioanalysis and diagnostic applications.Responsibilities:• Conduct research in the application of microfluidic biosensing platforms to address unmet needs in the market for a mini-perfusion system for cell line development and process optimization.• Undertake specific research project/s under the guidance of a research leader and contribute to the development of research activities.• Perform research collaboratively and individually, which will lead to high-quality research articles for publication in internationally refereed journals.Achievements:• Collaborate to develop a novel hard chip microfluidic device to improve the quality of cell separation with a concentration efficiency of more than 99.99%. • Drafted 2 journal articles to be submitted to peer-reviewed journals in the biomedical engineering field. • More achievements will be obtained as soon

The technology manager is responsible for overseeing the provision of cutting-edge educational services to develop generic, transferable skills that can be transferred to students for future work. For the first time, I have developed a range of innovative hands-on activities to engage school children in research and equip them with skills relevant to new technologies of the future.Responsibilities:• Providing training and a procedure to teachers for updating project schedules.• Liaising closely with teachers and executive staff to identify activities and their relationships.• Developing Cost Accounts hierarchy in collaboration with accounting manager to create a link between schedule and cost.• Tracking progress of all activities comparing them with their baseline values and preparing monthly progress curves using earned value analysis.• Holding monthly meetings with teachers and school staff to analyze their progress and identify problems and root causes leading to delays and deviations from the plan.• Updating the schedule to identify deviations and preparing short-term execution plans.Achievements• I defined and led all the capstone projects that I supervised from scratch.• Localizing the technology transfer process to apply new technologies and appropriate educational tools adapting tomorrow’s schools’ strategies.• Re-scheduled and reviewed the educational programs to save lots of time and budget up to 100%. • Delivered deeply scientific concepts by designing and mapping up experiments with simple materials (e.g., using wax crayons to design paper microfluidic devices) to reduce the import costs, a $30k saving.• Developed a very good relationship and teamwork spirit among students.

I have been at UNSW as a visiting scholar for one year. I worked on micro-manufacturing via 3D printing and soft lithography. I improved cell concentration in spiral microchannels through designing and fabricating novel cross-sections for the continuous high concentration (volumes up to more than 500 times smaller than initial input) and extremely high throughput particle separation (~%98), applicable for microalgae dewatering.
