About Asma Adala, Ph.D

I am passionate about Semantic technologies (RDF, OWL, Turtle, etc.) and helping customers towards creating shareable, high quality structured metadata. I enjoy modeling Linked Data structures, Vocabularies and Ontologies to harmonize the data across systems.I also master Machine Learning tools (Python, Java, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras, DL4J, SQL/NoSQL DB, .. ) on premises as well as on the Cloud (Microsoft Azure ML, AWS Sagemkaer), Natural Language Understanding and Processing (NLP/NLU) algorithms, Data Analytics and Visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight, ..), and Big Data Management Systems (Hadoop, Spark, ..). I have 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist in addition to over 9 years of research and teaching experience in academia as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science. I graduated from the Higher School of Communications of Tunis (Sup'Com) where I received my Ph.D. degree in ICT in 2015.
