- Tech lead of the Latin America/North America regulatory reporting team.- Modernized the LATAM regulatory reports currently on legacy ETL systems and ported them over to Java.- Designed and implemented a new solution for Canada's anti-money laundering system to port off of a legacy application that was scheduled to be decommissioned.- Trained the regulatory team and interns on SpringBoot and Java best practices.- Developed a resilient kafka ingestion framework to parse/store hundreds of thousands of payments on a daily basis to supply data for the regulatory teams new data platform.- Designed and implemented a GraphQL api and client sdk for all regulatory developers to use in order to fetch the data for their regulatory reports.- Demoed the aforementioned api/sdk to the global regulatory team of 50+ developers.- Participate in bi-weekly meetings with other leads from across the globe, in order to develop a new, service-oriented regulatory application.
