With 13 years of experience in national and international NGOs focusing on Child and Women's issues, promoting Girls' Education, Research, Psycho-Social health, Mental Health & Emotional well-being, combating Child Marriage and Gender-Based Violence, Peace Building and Climate Crisis. As a psychologist, my primary responsibilities included visiting the Government Shelter Home (Dar-ul-Aman), to ensure Immediate psychological and legal support and referral to safe temporary shelter and medical support to women and children in need. My day-to-day tasks involved providing counselling services to DUA inmates and ensuring confidentiality and accurate documentation of details in the inmates' files. Refer victims of violence cases to the legal support team through the Bedari Child Protection Helpline. Develop and maintain a referral system. I also delivered community sessions with children on child sexual abuse and child marriages where Bedari implemented the Girls Power Program Project.
