Director, Strategic Communications
Current- Communication lead for rapidly evolving People function at an industry-leading technology company - with the key objective of ensuring the People function can support the pace of business transformation for the long-term, and in a strategic way. - Establish scope and accountability for new role within the organization, including quickly building relationships with global partners to help build ownership around consistent People communication.- Serve as communication consultant and strategist for key transformation initiatives including establishing global growth hubs, updating global job architecture, internal mobility, return to office, etc. - Develop new structure for People function communication alignment and consistency including designing a clear process for communication partnership, intake process, and multiple levels of communication support based on the scope of the communication work (e.g., audience size/types, risk to organization, breadth, and depth of impact, etc.).- Thought partner for multiple People team executives and regional partners to help ensure messages are analyzed from various angles including brand consistency, geographic and cultural nuances, inclusion and diversity, external market alignment, etc. - Partner closely with employee communication team to ensure People team communication is aligned with the global internal communication approach and that tactics are being executed in an effective way – giving space to priority corporate messaging and ensuring that internal audiences are being engaged in a thoughtful way each and every day.
