In a team of 2 people I worked on a computer vision system for an automated laser cutting complex. I was responsible mainly for algorithms for processing point clouds and polygonal meshes: filtering, normals estimation, clustering, point clouds registration, surface reconstruction from a point cloud, etc. I also developed applications for calibrating the profile sensor mounted on the manipulator, and for calibrating a static 3D sensor relative to base of the manipulator.

Here I was developing and implementing different computer vision algorithms, including: • method to perform automatic extrinsic calibration of the profile sensor; • algorithms to detect welding seams of various types based on data from the profile sensor; • different methods of point clouds registration.Implemented the algorithms into the project based on the ROS framework. Worked with API of the Wenglor industrial profile sensor.

Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia

Developed and implemented the following algorithms: • solution of the forward and inverse kinematics problems for 6-DOF parallel manipulator; • analytical solution of the forward and inverse kinematics problems for 6-DOF serial manipulator; • motion planner for an abstract 6-DOF manipulator; • planning trajectory for a cleaning laser on a flat surface.Also the following algorithms have been developed and implemented into the profile sensor software, manufactured by the Eidos Robotics: localization of the laser stripe on the image, compensation of the camera lens distortion, intrinsic calibration of the profile sensor, localization of welding joints of four types.Worked with API of the Basler industrial camera.

Developed software for analysis and processing of test results of gas engines. Performed comparative tests of the engine elements of various manufacturers and in various operating modes.
