I am a professional, a student and an independent explorer of the development sector. From implementing a mobile tool for financial inclusion to distributing energy efficient alternative solutions for better livelihoods to structuring well-engineered frugal products is the range of social innovations I have tried my hands on. As far as I have understood the depths of ‘social’ component of ‘social innovations’, they are not just about conserving environment or building green. They are more about the ‘impact’ created by them at different scales. The energies and resources put together in assuring the right implementation of a social innovation might be much larger than that required in building one. My objectives are henceforth oriented towards the rightful implementation of these innovations. Social innovations are into different verticals and can be anything than just products. But I believe that their scaling can be systematized through process, tools, and techniques. I aim at building these support systems for social innovations as well as for enterprises and individuals building these innovations.
