My journey included a pivotal role in the executive offices of Deepak Chopra, where I became a certified meditation instructor. Since then, I have seamlessly integrated mindfulness techniques into my professional routine, enhancing my leadership abilities.In 2019, I received a full scholarship to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where I earned diplomas in Jewelry Design and Technology (JDT) and as an Applied Jewelry Professional™ (AJP). This advanced my existing education in Fine Arts and Design from San Diego State University. My design work is reflective of my love for animals, 19th century art and mid-century vintage costume jewelry.I served as the Vice President of the Women's Jewelry Association's (WJA) San Diego Chapter in 2022, where I collaborated alongside other creative and accomplished females in the industry.Beyond my career, I am deeply dedicated to animal advocacy and community service. In 2021, I founded Cats of Oceanside, a non-profit organization committed to supporting street cats in my community of Oceanside, CA. Our mission is to fill the gaps left by heavily-funded shelters, ensuring no friendly street cat is overlooked. The efforts of the organization have successfully rescued, fostered, rehabilitated, and re-homed dozens of cats.
