Hi, I'm Aaron Smithmier and I'm based in Spokane, Wa. For the last ten years, I’ve owned my own company - trbm.marketing. During that time, I helped my clients with copywriting, graphic design, sales training, and my favorite - video production.Because I was my sole employee, I had to learn many roles - and learn them well. I learned that while nice equipment can make your video shine, it takes planning and skill to actually execute a vision. I learned how important it is to be organized and have systems in place every step of the way so that nothing falls through the cracks. That no amount of marketing shine can replace a well-told story. And most importantly, I learned that if you can’t explain something simply - you don’t understand it well enough.During the years that I’ve been operating my company, I’ve been privileged enough to work at several other jobs. This not only helped maximize income when clients were light, but also allowed me to learn other skills and industry knowledge that just makes me more well-rounded and capable. Among these jobs are NBC floor director, llama wrangler, professional axe-thrower, Radio Disney mobile DJ, comedy writer, and mattress sales trainer. I guess you could say that I like to try new things.I am well versed in Adobe Creative Cloud, AP Style, countless marketing & analytics tools, and I also possess the unique ability to Google a question I have before asking someone around me.
