Amy, the co-founder of Lion Life Community, has worked alongside her husband, Brody, since its inception. Lion Life, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization offers educational services to people without traditional access to it, namely to incarcerated individuals inside of the county jail. They believe education, especially in the Arts, can be a catalyst for Hope. Her passion to serve others through teaching, discussing, and making Art comes from her own personal experiences with the power of music. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Music in Vocal Performance from Kennesaw State University, spent time singing with Pacific Opera Company in Sydney, Australia, regularly performs with the Atlanta Opera, and is a part of an indie band called Art & Wick. Lion Life currently offers programming in GED Certification, English as a Second Language Classes, Continuing Education Preparation, Entrepreneurship, Freedom from Addiction, Music, and Creative Writing. Lion Life aims to equip, inspire, and encourage every student who engages in their courses, giving them a chance for a better future. At Smithwick House, Amy also offers design services in her Studio including branding, websites, copy, and photography. Her love for creating spilled over into the digital world when she began developing websites for Lion Life Community and other personal projects. She has spent time investing in courses to become certified to handle all your online needs well and has been designing for clients for over 7 years. Brody’s experience with spending years perfecting his writing abilities (Ahem, He holds a Bachelor’s in English and a Master’s in Professional Writing!) gives him a unique ability to craft the copy you need to tell your story. They especially love to help non-profits share who they are with the world effectively, in order to help more people!
