About Anna Magiera

With over 18 years of experience in corporate, venture, and startup environments, I have developed a vast business and investor network in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. I began my career with EY and PwC's advisory practices, where I focused on performance improvement. Later, I was part of management teams in venture funds, private equity, and CVC funds, and led the acceleration program at GrowthUP Accelerator & Venture Fund. My responsibilities included conducting due diligence, supporting portfolio companies, coordinating fund cooperation with US and European VCs, and managing the Corporate Venture Fund portfolio, where I invested over 2M euros and launched four mobility startups in the CEE region.Over the past 10 years, I have been deeply involved in the startup ecosystem, working closely with companies in a broad range of industries, including SaaS, AI/ML, AR/VR, E-commerce, EdTech, FinTech, FoodTech, InsurTech, HRTech, Mobile, PropTech, SportsTech, and Mobility. As a mentor at 10+ leading acceleration programs (including Techstars Berlin, Plug and Play, ReaktorX, and tech2impact), and a board member at Startup Hub Poland, I have played an instrumental role in supporting over 250 startups as an advisor and mentor. Additionally, I have experience working as part of startup teams, where I have helped implement critical business processes, procedures, and reporting, develop unique selling propositions, perform business development, and sign up key clients. I have also coordinated and controlled operational topics such as HR and communications, conducted fundraising, and built investor relationships.
