- Part of a team that worked closely with Hong Kong Immigration and Philippines Overseas Labour Organization to provide Foreign Domestic Workers with ethical work in HK- Worked actively towards solving the issue of Modern Forced Labour- Handled the highest number of cases within 2 months of joining the team (40+ cases of international FDWs)- Processed cases with different levels of complexity (First-timers, broken, terminated contracts)- Trained new members of the team on the operating procedures- Proactively found solutions for logistical issues within the agency- Liaised with the partner agency in Philippines to ensure deadlines are met and FDW’s underwent the necessary training and were able to complete processing under tight timeframes - Assisted the Fair team with ad hoc projects such as scripting and filming videos for internal use

•Acted as a resource person (consultant) to United Nations Volunteers Sri Lanka in coordinating the biggest Disaster Roleplay Simulation organised by UNV in Sri Lanka, which hosted over 120 participants from public and private universities across the island.• Responsible for consulting with multiple stakeholders including many from the Ministry of Disaster Management, National Building and Reconciliation Office and the National Disaster Relief Services Centre.• Coordinated and scheduled the first Disaster Roleplay Simulation Workshop to be held at a school in Sri Lanka (Gateway International College).• Was tasked with completely handling the printing of all the promotional material and DRR publication

•Supported the recruitment process by creating advertisements, longlisting of candidates, organising interviews, taking down meeting minutes, preparing interview reports and taking care of the on boarding of selected candidates.• Facilitated the visa and logistical arrangements for International United Nations Volunteers, specifically those from the South-South Partnership.• Was involved in the monthly payroll and hiring of the UNVs.• Organised and compered for a knowledge sharing night for the regional portfolio manager withthe volunteer.• Was part of the team organising the V-Awards Fellowship.• Compered and assisted the organising of the launch of the State of the World’s Volunteerism Report.

As a member of the Human Resources Department, assisted the team with employment contracts, warning letters, EPF and ETF calculations on the SNEID system. Also tasked with editing and printing of staff tags, assisting team members in performance appraisal and preparing monthly payroll. Was a core member in assisting the director and Human Resources Manager in the modification and implementation of the HRMI system. Aided the merger of two HR systems into one. Assisted the Director in automating VOP letters and creating excel reports for overtime work
