Asoka is an independent Finance Director and Management Consultant to organisations in healthcare, technology and charity sectors, as well as growing companies in other sectors. In addition to working as a FD to growing companies on a part time basis, he works closely with clients on a day to day basis when required to help run projects for them, as well as act as a sounding board and mentor for those who need regular guidance and support.Consulting projects include working for healthcare providers and hospitals, helping them with strategy, preparing business cases, reviewing private patient units and other projects. These have been for major London NHS hospitals such as Guy’s and St Thomas’s, Royal Brompton, King’s College and the Royal Free Hospitals.Asoka has been an adviser to the Business Growth Fund and carried out due diligence and review of financial and commercial operations of businesses which they were interested in investing into. Asoka helped to start up the mental health hospital group, Alpha Hospitals, which had a successful exit in August 2015.A qualified Chartered Accountant with 25 years experience in the healthcare sector, he has extensive commercial and financial management experience as a Finance Director.
