Senior Architect, Global Policy and Resource Visibility ( Cisco Board Sponsored Initiative)BI dashboard that was used by Cisco leaders and business managers to make fully-informed decisions regarding total cost of ownership of resources and projects as per corporate policies. This involved enterprise BI solution for managers, which combined HR, Finance and project data (from multiple business units) across multiple periods. :• Co-Lead the delivery and architecture track, which comprised of developers, cross functional senior architects and analysts. • Highly visible and cross-functional for C-Level as well as all department owners and people managers (10000+ users)• New concept of bringing all projects (including both small and 100+million initiatives) data together for various types of analytics__________________________________________________________________________Senior Architect, Human Resources, Cisco – IT 2005-2008• Lead for BI application, HR data mart and infrastructure. [Team of 8, employees/vendors : OBIEE, ETL, data experts]1. Led the technical revamp of HR BI as part of move from PeopleSoft to new Oracle R12 HR system2. Developed the performance management tool for all 10000 managers so that managers are self-sufficient for many of their data needs around turnovers, span of control, expense (project, travel, account etc.), cost center management, employee data etc. This was custom built system and was precursor of BI tools available today in the market (esp. Oracle’s packaged HR BI)3. Developed manager BI security model (one of the first in industry with engineering team of Siebel Analytics)

• Showcasing web based appliactions for B2B, B2C and Government to Citizen, to increase the adoption of internet (part of Cisco's Internet Business Solutions Group) • First production deployment of Service Oriented Arch (SOA) and participated in JSR initiatives of portlets and SOA• Created very successful jetspeed/java based metrics portal. This was early form of web based BI dashboards (~6000 users)
