My name is Abraham. I am a BS graduate of biochemistry from Linfield University and a current masters candidate in bioinformatics and genomics at the Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program (KCGIP) at the University of Oregon. In collaboration with the Meshinchi lab at Fred Hutch with the largest cohort of pediatric AML patients in the world, my research at UO is three fold:1. Building tools to identify concordant structural variants in pediatric AML long read sequencing data from different SV callers.2. Statistical analysis and interactive visualization of the structural variants for deeper interpretation.3. Development of an R-Shiny module for quick, easy, online viewing of said visuals for rapid clinical review and pAML therapeutic development.At Linfield my research was focused in designing metal nanoparticles and optimizing nanoparticle endocytosis in yeast cells to aid in drug delivery.
