Hi my name is Alexander. I'm partner at KLEINER a mid-sized law firm with offices in Stuttgart and Duesseldorf (Germany). We are focusing on Corporate, IP/IT, Commercial, Health Care, Public and Employment matters and are founding member of the Law Firm Alliance which is a global network of high-performing law firms. I have been specializing in Design Litigation, Trademark Litigation and Global IP Portfolio Management (Trademarks, Designs) for more than 20 years now.Before joining KLEINER in 2017 I worked in the IP teams of Norton Rose and CMS, both large law firms. That was an awesome and extremely educational time! However, after 16 years I thought it would be good to see something different and decided to move to a smaller firm. What other law firm could be a better fit? Of course I went to KLEINER (do you know, “kleiner” is the German word for “smaller” … you see? ;o) Together with my partners and the entire KLEINER family we are making our firm fit for the future. We are able to make quick business decisions. We are good in what we are doing! We hold lectures, write books and articles, are active members of national and international legal committees, etc. And yes, I work completely paperless ;o) This wonderful workplace is not enough. I have a wonderful family. My wife and I have two boys who really keep me on my toes ;o) I live in the center (or in the heart, if you like) of the biggest football (soccer) clubs in Germany or even Europe: yes, I love soccer!
