I was a team member in the development of an afterschool pilot reading program catered to first generation immigrant students. I conducted research on issues with ESL/SOL programs to identify methods for this program in addition to attending meeting on organizational involvement with issues faced by Latinx communities in the immediate Northern Virginia area.
