• Worked as the head designer and team leader on the “CDOT Central 70 Reconstruction Project” for Forterra’s precast manhole department.
• Using CDOT standards and RFC documents, created technical models, product submittal sheets, and production drawings for precast concrete structures.
• Collaborated with Lead Engineer to find solutions to unique field challenges in a timely manner.
• Developed rebar schedules for internal production standards and custom structures.
• Created an essential organizational tool to precisely monitor and assess all the data required to manage the Central 70 project, improving revision and response time to a matter of minutes rather than days.

• Additionally, I improved the efficiency of the office by designing better databases, creating dynamic blocks and one-key macros for CAD, and programmed custom macro keyboards for several employees.

Interned with the Development & Engineering Department. Worked to design solutions to critical problems with a line of their ground-well pumps and motors as well as develop new components for a variety of applications. Assisted with the final designs of their DOSYS automation system prototypes. Managed two high school interns.

Worked with team members to instruct patrons on safe climbing techniques and rent outdoor equipment to students and staff.

Worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Dr. Lin Liu investigating degradation mechanisms leading to the failure of lithium-ion batteries.
