Lead Sales And Information Assistant
Current- Manage high-volume visitor traffic.- Provide visitor information services.- Provide detailed trip planning assistance.- Advise visitors of enforced regulations and explain the importance of these regulations for the protection of the area and resources.- Inform visitors of directions, routes of travel, conditions and potential safety hazards.- Provide information to visitors and staff about current Yosemite Conservancy funded projects, as well as current resource management projects and/or policies throughout the park.- Receive monetary donations made to the non-profit organization.- Stimulate a sense of appreciation for the historical significance of the park and the wilderness resources, to encourage its protection and preservation.- Overseeing daily operations and procedures.- Create product displays.- Maintain product knowledge.- Perform routine safe counts and weekly change requests, for two locations.- Authorized to drive company vehicles to pick up weekly inventory deliveries.- Receive and process deliveries.- Responsible for cycle counting inventory.- Delegate tasks to staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment.- Create and oversee projects to improve operations and procedures: I created several excel templates to help improve our efficiency with cycle counting and product management. I have also created several staff resources, including a resource to help Spanish speaking guests with visitor information.- Train new staff members.- Respond to customer disagreements with the organizational policy.
