In the last few years with the Firm, Adrian has increasingly specialised in project and infrastructure finance, where he advised Government on a number of high profile projects including the refinancing of over €300m bank loans for an energy company and the privatisation of its petroleum division, a proposed waste to energy plant, the proposed offshore wind projects and the Malta-Sicily interconnector. In these engagements, Adrian worked very closely with the appointed legal advisors and was heavily involved in contractual negotiations, and was often responsible for drafting parts of contractual agreements. In these engagements Adrian often delivered presentations at board level and to highest levels within Government, including to the Prime Minister; the Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment; the Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs; and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications. In 2010 Adrian also advised a large property developer on its Initial Public Offering and was actively involved in the drafting of the Prospectus. Adrian also assisted a number of high profile family businesses in corporate restructuring and valuation of business divisions. -
